On the first day of the summer school holidays….

Is also the last working day of the year for me.  I packed away all the toys, washed down all the kid sized tables, chairs and I found lots of interesting stuff under the table tops!  Then I gave all the toys a really good wash and wipe.  Then I vacuum every corner of the house.  Mopped every bits of the floor.  Then I saw lots of lovely finger marks and handprints on all the white walls in the house, and out came my box of baking soda and wet cloth again.  Ah, now I am done for the year with work and looking after a handful of 2 year olds everyday! 

JD slept in till 9am.  Stayed in his pyjama till lunch time.  He ate all kinds of stuff  today, but heck, it’s the first day of school holidays!  He watches cartoon all day, play games, build Lego, sent more letters to Santa and at 9pm at night, he asked for a hotdog for supper!

Chloe doesn’t sleep in, she wakes up 7am sharp every morning and has been so from the time she was born!  Very strange!  She is so into Christmas this year.  She sings the carols all day long, she looks at the Christmas tree all the day long, she loves Santa, she keeps asking if the presents can be opened, she wants to help me make the gingerbread cookies and be part of EVERYTHING I do!  Oh, she talks on her toy phone ALL DAY LONG to Santa, and it usually goes like this “Hello Santa, is Christmas, ummmm, can I have presents for Chloe, Jayden, Mummy, Daddy, okay, bye! “ 

My husband’s office delivered a hamper addressed to me!  It says “Thank you for your support of Phillip throughout 2008.  It is much appreciated.”   Ah, so all the late nights, his business travelling I put up with is worth it after all.  Hahaha.  It was such a nice gesture from his boss!  But the long hours is also not easy on my husband either, so it is very nice to know we are appreciated in every ways.

Oh and my laptop crashed two weeks ago.  I am nearly there in catching up on emails and stuff.  But I can’t post up many pics yet because I haven’t gotten around to install all the programs back on my new computer yet.

For now, I am actually going to take an afternoon nap!
